Default GOT IT!!

Well im now the proud owner of a new to me Jun 05 C2S Cab !!!

Thanks to Streamlined for the tip.

Its a Silver with Black full leather, crono, classic wheels with PS2's, heated power seats, bose. Perfect condition.
Drives fantastic.

Only complaint is i cant hear the exhaust (after my 01 C4 with PSE)

Its amazing how much better built this seems than the 01. The interior just seem much more solid and classier. The exterior is So much more muscular looking. Perhaps it had to see unless they are side by side
It seems way quicker on the 300 miles or so ive put on it.

Now i need clear side markers, and iPOD integration. Is the Dension one a DIY ?

Also i think i want a TUBI exhaust this time... anyone in the SF bay area have one i can listen to ?

Oh, not to forget, pics very soon

Congrats on the new ride! Enjoy. Is "Dr" for PhD, MD, DC or other? Just curious.

Aha! So, you are a REAL doctor! (Just a friendly jab from another Ph.D. to all MDs! )

PS. Congradulations on your purchase!

19k miles,
Its a late 05... june reg. so almost 2 years warranty
i got it for $70 even
Just had 20k service completed the previous day
I'll have the check the options but mianly full leather, power, electric, heated seats (not sport), Bose, Chrono, Classic wheels with color Crest caps, not sure what else.
Its in perfect shape... the seats do not look like they've been used at all.
One minor stone chip on the rear flare.
Gotta say the paint on the 997 seems to be way glossier than the 996's i remember.

Cool. I was sort of testing a hunch and I was wrong in this case. I'll blame my miss on the fact that it is sort of a running joke for you. My guess was that you were a chiropractor. Around here, it seems everyone with a DC degree gets a big charge out of being called DR - they insist on it, in fact. I'm pretty sure it is the only reason some of them went to chiro school in the first place. My closing atty recently said she has had 2 chiropractors insist that all of the closing documents have Dr. before their name. Hilarious. It is not my intent to malign all chiropractors, so please don't flame me if you are one. Just my observation.

Marty,
I didnt know what i wanted to do after undergrad, so I joked that i'd do a PhD in Semiconductor Physics and Quantum Devices just so i could be called Dr.
That was a long time ago now.
Still funny to think of all my mates at the pub now are Dr too... you'd never guess if you saw us at the time though.

Congrats! Glad it worked out for you - guess I should think about becoming a car broker Quite a lot less that that guy in Mill Valley wanted, it did sound like quite a good deal and I'm happy for you.

Where are the pics?

Congratulations! Sounds like a great car and a good buy. Enjoy!

MartyB - Didn't your closing attorney complain that we lawyers don't get called Dr. in the States? At least in the Porsche fatherland, its Herr Doktor for our colleagues. I always felt shortchanged by that!

Yeah, but Herr Doktor basically translates to "Mister Doctor", so what's the deal? <g>
