The stone guards are actually quite easy to remove. As far as buying new ones I would just go to a dealer.

REmoving is easy installing a whole different ball game. If you have had some exp with them they can still be a pain. I would recommend a professional to install for around 40 bucks

I have a white car and took them off because they yellowed. I left them off for about 6 months. I found out they are really needed, ordered them from my dealer and installed they were 83.00.

alot of the newer material looks better and lasts longer than the oem stonegaurd.
shop around your local clear bra installers. I removed mine at delivery and had a custom one installed, thinner material, less yellowing and only one exposed edge since they can hide the rest in the door or wheel well.

The rear fender flares are pretty susceptible to chipping, which is why Porshce has these installed pre-delivery.

Immediately after buying my car, I had a clear bra installed at the dealer where purchased. At the same time they replaced the existing rear stone guards when I pointed out that they already had some yellow spots on them. This part of the job was covered under warranty.
