Glad to be of help. The nomenclature for oem Porsche steering wheels is a little confusing so make sure the dealer doesn't mess up your order. I am still a couple months from ordering my 997 Turbo so please confirm that my info is accurate, but what I know is this: At least in the Turbo, the standard wheel is this "Sport Steering Wheel," which as I said is smaller in diameter, has thumb rests and slightly thicker than the Multi Function Wheel. Option XPA (I think, anyone corrects me if I am wrong) makes this same wheel just slightly thicker. This option is what a lot of people find appealing.

Has anyone ever added the thicker steerring wheel with Multi function AFTER Market ?
I prefer the thicker grip ..

Here you go mzn50, this is the techart wheel. It is technically a stock wheel that has been modified using leather from a Porsche supplier.
