Jet Turbine Wail at 4k +
OK, nobody hear warned me about how wonderful the music gets at 4k and beyond!!! I could not believe it - that subtle yet heart-piercing scream of the engine, ramping up and then down as the tach needle rises and falls.
Oh Man...
You guys that are waiting for your cars to arrive - get ready for a treat. But don't rush things, the music from 1-4k is sweet too!

We are talking about bone stock 
It's nothing to do with the headers / cats / exhaust, this is something different - almost like a supercharger spooling up and then back down. I really can't tell what it is, but I like it!

I hear ya,....above roughly 5000 rpm these cars are incredibly loud under throttle. I'm not 100% but I think the 'supercharger' like sound may be the VarioCam stuff going to work. Whatever it is, it's a wonderful sound.

It's a great sound, and it sounds beter (1) as it ages and (2) with the top and windows down when going through a concrete-walled underpass!

I hear it as well, but I think it is something in the transmission. It is a high-pitched sound that resembles the noise a jet engine makes when starting up. I hear it more in the higher gears, especially 6.

I know just what you mean!
After leaving the DE event, I had some punk in an Acura trying to catch-up to me. Once he got what I felt as "that's close enough there bud", I nailed it on Rt-8 and the noise from the PSE on at 5K and up was insane! Needless to say all he saw was the wing in the distance.
Need more time with windows down.....
