CONGRADS!! My previous car (Lexus SC430) was red. Love the color as well.

Do as they say, change the side markers from amber to clear ones. It'll look much better!

I also have PSE and a K-40 system in my new C2S and love them both.

Break it in per factory, stay below 4K (if at all possible) and keep an eye on the oil level. After 2K miles.... wind it up.

Enjoy the new car! What else would someone named RedBaron expect to drive? A silver one?

Regards,
Deanski

Congrats on the car.
Great color choice!
I agree with the others about the clear lights. Just put them on my new red 997S

Congrats on the gonads to order red. It's a sports car for gosh sake,--they need some color!

I respectfully disagree.
The amber sides meld well with GR and do not stand out, as the clears do.
Just my opinion.

Imagine how the clear would pop in this pic or my avatar.

red is probably the only color where clears are a must. orange and red just clash.
in unrelated news, the lobster wheels for some reason look best on red 997's

Clears are definitely a must on guards red.
The orange stands out because it's the only thing on the car that color.
The clears match the front lights perfectly.
I agree the orange and red totally clash.

I have yet to see the 997 in red in person...pretty rare I quess. I really like how the brakes match the car in your pictures.

Sweet! Damn, Guards Red is shard. It is so much FUN having to break in a Carrera. Tear up some pavement.

Clear side markers and a V1 are on mine, too. Did them both myself with the help of posts off this very forum.
