997 oil usage
I have a 6 week old (new) 06 997s with 2000 miles. It is fantastic. I followed the manufacturer's break in recommendations. I have no visible oil leak. But..
the oil guage reads between the middle and lower notch, still within the normal range. Is this normal early on? When would (You) add oil based upon the digital readout?
Is everyone going 15K before an oil change? Probably all of these items have been covered elsewhere, but I am new to rennlist.

that's about what i had. i added a smaller amount of oil than i thought it needed , 1/4 qt and added another one (1/4) about 4 weeks later. i changed oil at 2500 just to remove particulates in the filter and engine
