Latest news on the looming facelift for MY 08
I just picked up the latest (150th Anniverasry issue) of 911 and Porsche World magazine, for those that may not be familiar it's a very well known and high quality UK publication which can be found at Barnes & Nobles etc for $10.00 US.
The mid-term facelift is to coincide with the 2007 Frankfurt auto show in September of 07 and as the various spy sources have indicated the car will recieve revised front and rear bumpers, new rear tailight clusters with LED's and a modest hp increase of around +/-15 hp. Porsche is keeping the changes minor to protect resale values.
So if this information is correct us 07 owner's/buyers have picked up some added breathing room in the form of about 4 extra months; but none the less, these changes are coming and should be here for the MY 08 997. Sounds like a step in the right direction for Porsche.
