Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa is the host hotel for the Porsche Driving Experience.
They pick up / drop off at the airport and shuttle you back and fourth to the track.

They do have a Bagpiper that plays at sundown
Have never stayed there, cause I'm cheap I stay at the Chevron
But they say it is nice!!
Your gonna have a BLAST at PDE!!!!

Robert, you are going to have an absolutely fabulous time. PDE is the best investment you can put into your Porsche. It should be beautiful in Birmingham in November.

Drifting
I had a great experience today at the PDE in Birmingham. Instructors were great, the track was fantastic! I drove a Carrera, Cayman, Boxster S and a Cayenne Turbo. If anyone is siiting on the fence you should sign up for this program, even if you don't own a Porsche (yet) You get an opportunity learning how to drive on a track, motorcross, improve your driving skills overall and put Porsches finest through the best test drive you will never get on the street. What a great day!!

Trying to talk the wife into booking me for my birthday present. Do you know if they have any Tiptronic cars there. I can;t shift because of the loss of my left leg and my prosthetic will not allow me to push a clutch.
thanks, Mike

Another B'ham resident here. Let me throw out two more restaurants. Hot and Hot Fish Club, which is right around the corner from Bottega and Highland Bar and Grill. And if you like sushi, Jinsei in homewood (the new SoHo development). As good or better than anything I have had (I've lived in Manhattan and eaten just sushi in most major US cities) outside Japan (conincidentally, they fly everything in fresh daily from Japan).

He could teach the Master's Course at this point. Rumor has it that he has his own individual car there as well, specially tweeked, and "racing gas and tire guage " provided gratis!
