With that amount of damage, not including further problems to be discovered upon disassembly, on a brand new car, don't even consider keeping it.

Find out if you can seek dimished value in your state, then if you can, walk away from any lawyer who says you cannot seek this or shows low interest.

According the the dealer you absolutely can seek dv - in IL it apparently was passed into law last year that the 3rd party have to provide it if requested. The issue of course is always going to be "how much?"

The owner of the body shop told me he was fixing a Ford GT (40) for an attorney who specializes in DV cases. I will get his number if need be.
