how much do i weigh?
im getting either a beltronics or gtech performance meter today. Need to input my vehicle weight.
2005 997 S cab with PSE champion wheels how mnay pounds should i add for 1/2 tank gas ? thanks |
Do what I did when I wanted an accurate weight reading......a scale. IIRC it was about $5-10 at one of the local truck stops.
|
local truck stop - how do i find one of those?
|
We got the list from the movers but unfortunately it is for the Las Vegas area. However, most, if not all, "real" truck stops should have one.

Spec grav of gasoline is approx .7
Water weighs 8.34 lb/gal Therefore .7 X 8.34 X number of gallons is your answer. |

A variance of 5-10# is not something that you would notice. So, a quick and dirty way to think about it is about 25# per 1/4 tank. |

Good man, nothing there really for a youg upward couple. Though your wife as a physician would have plenty of substrate. :icon501: |

Sorry, but you lost me on the "substrate". |
you can get your weight a the dumps, free.
|
weighing is the only way to get the right number. If you want to calculate you would need to know the weight difference of all the options such as bose, leather, electric seats etc. That stuff isn't published so a trip to the weighing station is the only way to go.

Sorry, but you lost me on the "substrate". Your wife is a physician and without becoming political, much of medicine is practiced upon the older generations. Hope this clears it up. |
Ah....that helps allegretto! Not much of the medicine has worn off on me but I totally see your point
Jeff........yes the traffic is absolutely HORRIBLE here!!! This city has grown faster than it can accommodate the citizens with the current transportation infrastructure. Drving to the University everyday for me is quite the chore and my wife's commute to the hosiptal can be routinely over an hour each direction. Thank God those days are over. Looking forward to my new home :biggulp: |
dell,
what about quick spins around red rock? not possible? when i've been there hasnt been much traffic! maybe they always have law around? |
