Default $3000 for Dealer Installed PSE, Too High?

Dealer quoted 3k for parts and labour for sport exhaust for 06 911S with sports chrono.

Is $3000 kind of expensive?

You can get muffler for 1800 and install w/o switch for about 300 Stays loud all the time (good or bad?) Dealer wants too much for installation imo, but they won't put it in w/o electrical connection.

Will the exhaust be electronically controlled by the sport button, or will it always be in the “open” position?

I'd look at other exhausts etc.....running full AWE system-love the sound etc........OEM equipment is usually higher in price with no difference in performance( I know the PSE does not offer any performance gains)........

Yes that's too high. I paid less for mine installed at dealer. Approx $2100 for install.

based on porsche tech bulliten posted at renntech installation is less than 4 hrs for car with sport chrono and less than 5 hrs without chrono. my delaer quoted me $500 including wiring. i ended up installing the mufflers with vacuum tubes no wiring. i can have lound/quite by connecting/disconnecting one tube in the engine bay. this way installation is about $150.

Suncoast quoted me:

$2800 w/ switch
$2100 w/o switch

I am still debating!

EDIT: Where is Tubi and AWE systems sold?
