X-51 Update, Interesting Tidbits and Pure Speculation...
#16
I would not be suprised if the x-51 is putting out 407hp on the bench....I would suspect the S engine is putting out more than 355hp....My S cab is noticably quicker than my old 360 spider, which had 395hp and significanty faster than my old 355 spider, which was supposed to have 375hp....

if the dme takes thousands of miles to adjust - i wonder if my giac reprogram would work similarly - maybe i need to keep driving it a while before re-dynoing

Any more dyno info on your project?

Agreed. I'm seeing very low 4 second 0-60 times in the C4S, without a hard launch, on a fresh (1400 miles) motor.
I don't want to tell my buddy about this; he just picked up a '98 F355 Berlinetta... <g>

X-51's engines are averaging 407 (give or take a few) on the bench
So I heard while in Germany on a Harley-Project I was associated with a few months back and that's all I can comment...
