Default Adaptive Sport Seats vs Regular Sport Seats HELP ME QUICKLY PLEASE

Need help quickly. Wasn't planning on getting adaptive seats, but know I'm mulling over this. Can guys who have or don't have these attest to them.

my advice - stop reading this board - otherwise you will get talked into another $10k in options

illuminated door sill, tpms, etc.....

Lmao. That is correct sir, but when spending near 100k, what's another 10. Honestly though this seems like a semi biggie to me. I'm not into Tpms or lighted sills.

10K is just a start. After, you got your car you will spend another 10K

I have adaptive now and used to have the regular sport seats in my GT3. I think they are key if only for the lumbar support and the memory function. Otherwise I think the blow-up side bolsters are not worth it. If you are above average in size and lower back support is important, then I'd say yes.

Have em, love em, wouldn't want to be without em. They move in more ways than THPorsce's girl there. Well, I might have to try her out to be sure, but I'll bet they do. And the seats won't come back for more money!

i believe the standard power seats also have adjustable power lumbar support, just like the adaptive sport seats...........

Adaptive sport seats for sure. Unless you want to track the car. Then go with the lighter sport seat.

I have the adaptives and like them. I never use the air blatters though (6', 200lbs). I think I'd go for the standard sports the next time as the power adjustments are not worth $2,500 imho.

One interesting thing i have observed with the beige interior is that on the porsches the dash is also beige...this causes a good deal of glare off the dash surface...you almost have to have sunglassed, even on a cloudy day...with the darker dash colors this is not a problem....Beige is my favorite color but i wish porsche made the top of the dash black, itl doesnt look as good but is easier on the eyes, literally....

I agree. I have Sports Seats but passed on the Adaptives. The Adaptives in the launch car I drove were splendid, but at 5'09" I do not miss the lack of lumbar adjustability. If you can live without them it is a good place to save some weight.

Porsche does offer this option. It is called Bi-Color interior. They offer this option in Black/Beige, Black/Grey, and Black/Terracotta. All three combinations have top of the dash, the steering wheel, the pillers, and the top of the door sills in black. The remainder of the interior is in the "other" color. Go to the Porsche Configurator at see examples of the interiors.
