Youtube sound clips stink. You never get the real sound like hearing it in person. I personally have the PSE on my 997.1. My car does not have the option to open/close the valves so its valves open no matter what. I would'nt close them if I had the option. I believe 997.1 sounds different than 997.2 PSE because it has no center muffler. Personally for the money, pick up a used PSE. If I had to go aftermarket, probably Soul.

I got Fisters about a month after getting my car 2 years ago.
Shot by my wife with an iPhone X standing at the end of our driveway.
I think they are a no brainer when you look at the cost and power you get out of other exhausts.
As someone who has had different degrees of rowdy exhausts since 1993 on about a dozen cars, I think some people will relate when I say, I never cringe in the mornings when I start the car up, or feel annoyed to have to drive the car at 6:30am or so when I leave for work and sit in LA traffic for an hour and a half. Subtle but throaty, nice burbles and some natural crackles/pops, no droning whatsoever after 10k of daily driving and a few longer trips (LA to Bay Area, and LA to San Diego...) + around town stuff. I have had cars where they are my only car and they just straight up bum me out to have to start them in the morning. Using my friend's 997.2 GT3 was such a car even with the flaps closed. My C2S with fisters has none of the negative and makes a good noise almost identical to PSE with open flaps.
Also, with the ceramic coating on the exhaust and tips, I feel like it gave the cans a second life. It has always been a SoCal car, so they looked fine but with the ceramic coating, they look better than new.
Last, Darrin Fister is super easy to deal with, and his work is top notch, so I feel really good about the exhaust 2 years later. I wish I felt this way about 99% of other car mods I have done in the past 25+ years.
Here is a semi-decent pic of the tips.

Just installed an AWE HFC to go with my Fabspeed exhaust. I like the individual design much better than the Fabspeed X-pipe design. I only have a cold start sound but am super excited to get it out on the street and hear it.

FVD has a number if different options. I have their PSE specific headers and 200 cell cat pipes. Very happy with them.
Speedtech has some options. Agency Power, Armytrix and IPE too. There are cheap set ups made in Taiwan available on eBay.
