Default Channels not updating... after days...

I have a OLD un up-date-able version for a 08 Cayenne. My unit is not updating the channel list at all. I read on the Navi Tv site in the fourms that many other people have the same problem but there is never a solution posted. Here are the screen shots from my car. Any help would appreciated.

My experience:

2007 C2S - upgraded Bose package

Pulled PCM and replaced with Kenwood 6980 and NAV/TV this summer. Setup worked for awhile but eventually audio fails to work - problem was failure of NAV/TV. Pulled old one out and popped in a new NAV/TV. Worked fine for a few months then start car one day and no audio again.

Currently dumping NAV/tv and factory optical amp - rewiring car and replacing with aftermarket amp. Amp is small enough to go where Bose amp sits in frunk.

You didn't look hard enough. My post (below) indicates that I had a similar problem on my 2009 C2S and resolved it by upgrading the firmware to a patch recently released. My NAV-TV unit is updateable however - do you really have a unit without a USB connection?

I got a quote to install the Dension unit with the blue tooth module for $485. It sounds real high. Anyone know how long this install should take. The car is an 07 997 with nav and cd in pcm.
Even if it take 5 hours. That is close to $100/hr. Seems a bit much. $250 to $300 seems like where it should be.

Just bought a 2007tt with Nav and single cd. I am unclear as to the best option to get satellite radio
Is it 1)using the XM Cayenne kit 2) Using Nav tv kit 3) Using some of Cayenne kit parts as described on 6speed.

Also will add Dension and BT module
Thoughts?
Thanks

With Pandora and the iPod interface connection, why would anyone pay $2000 to install XM when it's music that you are mainly after? I use my iPhone with Pandora all the time even though my 3 month XM free trial is still active.

I found a great Sirius Satellite unit for 2005-2008 997s. Its called NAV-TV,they have a web site, however I found it at USP Motorsports. $899.00 and about 4+ hrs of torture I have a fully integrated and operational satellite radio. I have a 2006 C4S Cab. The NAV-TV + Sirius unit are small (3"square) fit under the dash. I placed the antenna on the plastic in front of the windshield wipers. The instructions leave a lot to the imagination" but with a few simple hand tools". So far 1 wk it works great.

Isn't Pandora internet streaming? That requires data consumption from your phone's plan.

With Satellite for a basic flat fee and equipment you can listen all you want and you don't need to spend $2000 unless the Porsche radio won't work with an aux out stereo plug.

That may be the only thing saving SiriusXM because unlimited data plans are going to become a rarity. The carriers make their money selling data now. It used to be minutes now it's GBs.

I just looked my data usage so far this month, 7 GBs. And I only stream about an hour of video and/or radio a day. Otherwise my Razr Maxx is on wifi where the phone's battery lasts much much longer. Point is it doesn't really take "heavy usage" to blow past 5GB or the even smaller allotment on the typical phone plan once video is added to the mix.
