I just ordered my new S at Plaza Porsche in St. Louis tonight. Should receive it in March or April. The S is a little rich for my blood, but I received a good deal. Here are the options I ordered:

Colored Crest
Sport Chrono
Bose Stereo
Black/Sand Interior

Keep in mind that the standard Carrera was more in my price range and I could not afford alot of options. I tried to get the best for my money. I also considered a new Z06, but I just could'nt cross over. Its like a disease or something.

I received approx. $6000 off. We have two dealers in the St. louis area to choose from and both were very professional to deal with. ( Just in case their watching ).

Sounds like a great deal! I don't remember anyone saying they got any more than that off a 997.
