Anybody have pics of of a 997 with Champion RG19's?
I might have them installed tomorrow while I have it lowered at the dealer. . . :D

I took the plunge, they should be on this afternoon, I will take pics and post if it's not too dark outside.

Very cool choise... plus they're actually pretty light too. My friends are now taking bets on how long I can hold off without getting a 997...

Hey congraulations on installing your RG19s on the 997. Can you give me details on how you did it? I had RG19s on my 2002 C4S and Wheel Enhancement told me they were not compatible with my new 997 Carrera S, so the RG19s are just sitting in my garage collecting dust right now!
Thanks, SY in Houston |
I believe the offsets are different, mine were made specifically for the 997S.

Those wheels look very nice! I especially like the deep-dish on the rears and polished lip. I wish the standard wheel choices for the 997 had this deep-dish look. The stock wheels on my old M Coupe were like that and it really makes the fender flares much more prominent and the back-end much more aggressive.

Yeah, different offsets is what they said, oh well. Time to put them on eBay, thanks for the info. Enjoy the new rims, they're beautiful!
