Default How Soon Until Options Cant Be Changed for July Build?

I am not contemplating any option changes, but I am curious as to when the car is 'locked' for a July build. At least at that point I will know I am closer to 'being made'. The dealer told me at some point the vehicle status would change so that options could not be added or deleted. I don't want to call and bug the dealer but I am curious.

Also, the dealer had said that prior to that date, the longer you wait to make changes (as you approach the 'lock' date) you will loose your place in line and drop to the bottom. Any truth to that, or is that the dealer telling me not to bug him with changes based on indecision and to leave him alone????

Generally when the 'Order Status reaches MFGCNF (Assigned a Production Number) it is not changeable

Probably too late right now. That is what my dealer told me. And, if you make changes to unusual options (ie: custom interiors, etc.) you WILL be delayed

Yea, any late changes moves you down not from you dealer's list but from Porsche's factory cue. Better to spec the car and just leave it alone. On the flip side, the more people make changes, the more chance you might get to move up.

I actually never thought of that flip side!! Too bad it will sit in dry dock until late september no matter when its built.

Just an estimate based on how things went with my car, your deadline would have been almost 2 months ago.

I added TPMS about 3 weeks ago so at that time I still could change options. At least TPMS is on my Pro Forma invoice so I assume it was added (it better be or ill be bummed, relatively speaking).
