997 S Cabriolet all cleaned up. Pics
I've finally gotten my wait out of my system, and these will be the last pics for a while. I had the chance to get the car out today to start breaking it in. The weather in the Northeast this week has been horrendous. But it did give me some time to read through the manual and detail the car. Looks and drives great. No complaints and I'm getting used to the tiptronic. Surprisingly it shifts very well for an automatic. Not bad to have in traffic. I love the sound of the engine and the cab is pretty quiet even with the top down. I love it, it's my first porsche and I want to thank all who have been supportive in my wait. And a final note to all the waiters who are waiting for September and October deliveries; it will be worth it. As I continue to drive and break in my new machine, I will post back with pros and cons to help all on this site. Take Care and good luck.

Looks beautiful...can't wait until I can spend some intimate moments polishing mine - but until Nov-Dec I'll just have to dream.

Really great combination, and great setup too. I like the wheels, the silver accents in the interior ( I think they really stand out against the atlas/black combo), overall a great look. I sincerely hope you enjoy it !

Nice work. We sure are lucky guys to own these cars.
Someday (yeah right) I'm gonna buy two identical ones, one to keep as an immaculate museum piece, the other to drive and get dirty. Thanks for the brief though enjoyable tour of the DJ23 museum.
