GT3 seats
Anyone here put GT3 seats in your 997 yet? The 987/997 seats have side airbags incorporated into the seats. I was wondering if this would cause a problem with installing GT3 seats.

You'll probably have to do it yourself. I think most shop owners or dealers would be worried about a future passenger being injured in your car and trying to sue them and getting the feds on them for removing an OEM airbag ( in the 997 seat ).

Sport seats (adaptive and non-adaptive) also have airbags incorporated.
I was desperately hoping and waiting for a GT3 seats option on the 997S, but after seeing how much more confortable and lateral suport the 997 sport seats have compared to the 996 that I'm OK with them, and worthwhile the extra protection of the truck airbags they incorporate.
