I spent a few hours over at Tire Rack today watching the final leg of the One Lap Of America. (Cannonball Run)
I parked the 997S about 30 feet away from the entrance to the track. (Pete Veldmans personal spot I was told)
The car drew more attention and compliments than I had ever expected.
I spent a lot of time opening the car up and answering questions about it.
I must have heard a hundred times "this car is gorgeous" and " Porsche did a GREAT job with the redesign of the 997"
I think I am going to ask PCNA for a 5% comission check on all the 997's I helped sell today.....LOL

Brian, again it does look sharp. You mentioned previously that your dealer placed a lot of swirl marks in your car. What did you use to get it in the shape that we see it now? Take Care, and again congratulations.

Funniest part is that the comment that bumped it was so inconsequential - "Sweet!"
Although the OP being from 2005 does explain why that is one of the cleanest, newest looking 997s I've seen in a long time.
