Default Tracking your Order

I imagine this has probably been discussed before, but does anyone know of any way to track the build-ship-arrival dates of a new 997 order? For example, a friend of mine ordered an M3 a few years back, and was able to tap into something to track his order through the build process. He even knew what ship it was scheduled to be shipped on (!), and he did all this from home on the net, not through his dealer.

I would think that with all the creative guys on the list, someone has an angle on this.

You have to keep in touch with your dealer. Porsche does not have a similar system.

Many Porsche dealers are of little help in this regard...mine, for example.
