if you can find OEM GT3 wheels, they are super solid (and heavy as a result). Otherwise, I would get the BBS monoblock wheels. That's my vote in any case.

My new 997 has the carrera sport wheels and I quite like them. I’m considering a set of sport classics but not completely sold on switching wheels out. Can always go back to stock, so it’s not a huge decision.

Hang onto your lobsters just in case.

I love my Carrera Sports but with the style of your car OP, I would also go OEM GT3 wheels (purely based on aesthetics, I have no idea how much they sell for, which is probably a lot).

I agree, the GT3 style wheel would look great, especially with the Porsche colored center caps. The problem is I need GT2 wheels (WB fitment), as removing my spacers is an imperative of this project. I haver never seen a set of GT2 wheels for sale...I think with that car's price, stock is paramount, so there is very little feedstock from owners who went aftermarket.

I know of some WB P40s for sale, so that is a good option. Still thinking either LM or CH-R.

Thanks everyone for the fun discussion so far.

I have zero experience with spacers, are you looking to get rid of them because of any impact on the drive?

A set of GT2/GT3RS wheels were offered and sold on Rennlist a few years back (8) for $2,750

If you're WB, GT3RS wheels will work as well but these HREs are sooooo good too:

these are 18s and on a NB but these wheels are so sexy.

I have posted these elsewhere but they are such good looking wheels and can be custom made to fit how you want.

I know they cost a bag tho...

any color too.

I wish I was given a free set by HRE to post everywhere but I just love the wheels and have not been paid by them...lol.

Someone above mentioned GT3/GT2 wheels - as the car is a WB, 'if' I wanted to go that route - I would have to find GT2 wheels right?
Btw, gt2 wheels are wider than turbo wheels. Turbo wheels (and those their size) would work for your car. No reason to limit yourself.

Those HRE R101s look spectacular but might be more than I want to spend, and 63mercedes, yours look so neat too. Are those Augmented Wheel Companies?

Right now my car is getting new tint, ceramic, and a full front PPF. Can't wait!

Default ForgeLine

I went to ForgeLine in Dayton and picked from myriad variables for my 2010 turbo.

For the 2007 C2S I had ADV1 I bought used from Petza. I really like them

in both cases I was most concerned about getting the offset correct without spacers.

I really like your Forgelines, and obviously likes your ADV1s too, since I owned them for a while.

I've had 4 sets of wheels on my 997.

RUF wheels where I live the timeless design, but rears were only 10" wide and the PO had chromed them

ADV1s that jfort now has

Polished Champion rs171s

Forgelines - love these and am done

Direct-fit + superlight + no spacers = Apex.

OZ Ultraleggs and Alleggs are direct-fit and superlight but require spacers to achieve an aggressive stance. They are approximately the same price as Apex SM-10s (cast).
