Transmission mount Lemfoerder 3470501 (997/987/???)
Good evening!
I'm second-guessing the transmission mount I ordered. I thought I ordered a 997 manual trans mount.....Lemfoerder 3470501
BUT
I see that part # more than once on different sites indicating there's that same part # for 997's and same for 987's (Cayman/Boxster)
Are there 2 versions of the same Lemfoerder part # 3470501 ???
What I ordered -----> https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/por...ng-98737502305
Another site showing ------> https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_In...=997M&DID=4860

So I'm hoping this will help someone in the future (I'm truly surprised there's nothing about it here before me)......
It would appear that there is only ONE Lemfoerder part # 3470501. Another sign I found was Rennline offering a single mount for all the aforementioned applications ------> https://www.rennline.com/hd-engine-a...t-sku-s-13001/
If you read the description carefully, you'll see that this appears to be dimensionally and effectively an equivalent part # (though Porsche used a few) for a 996/997 "transmission" mount as well as 986/987 "engine" mount. If that's the case, combined with one single Lemfoerder part #, I'm assuming that's all there is. To be 100% sure I decided to get under the car & measure as best I could & here's what I came up with....
Diameter =
Diametrical housing width/length =
Overall width/ength =
Being that I was under the car with a pair of calipers & all mount brackets still in the way I think it's safe to say we're talking apples here.

- Measured = 2.980 (roughly)
- Lemfoerder actual = 2.972"
