Default Review of Emc2design Side Skirts

They're finally here!! Emc2design has been working on these 991 side skirts for a LONG time and they are finally ready for production. Many of us have seen the thread on a DIY version of the skirts, and some were brave enough to tackle it. I am a perfectionist and knew I would not be happy with the outcome if I were to do it myself. I had the privilege of working with Emc2 on the 997 turbo lip upgrade and gladly agreed to help provide feedback on these 991 side skirts as they neared production. Emc2 took note of every gap and imperfection in the prototype. The final product fits very close to the car, and any small amount left is covered by the trim lok that runs along the top.

I don't need to go into how they are installed because he has a very detailed video of the whole process. The installation took around 15 minutes on the first side, 5 minutes on the second side

Lastly here are some pictures of the final product installed on my car. I always disliked how the aerokit front bumper hung lower than the sides and rear. These extend those areas lower to be more in line with the front, without reducing ground clearance (the belly of the car hangs lower than the OEM lower sill). I feel like these side skirts, along with the rear skirts, complete the GT3 touring look, with the black aerokit lip style being extended all the way around the car.

They really add some "heft" to the sides, especially in the 3/4 rear view.

Super nice! I did it DIY, and it looks good, but not this good... i might need to swap

One thing i did on mine was wrap the rear diffuser between the exhaust tips in black vinyl. It draws in the black from the rear skirts to complete the look.

We've had a couple of pm's asking where to find these on our site.
We're still updating the site menu but in the interim you can find them directly at the link below:

So I've had mine for a few weeks now, and was just able to get a few pics installed.

A+++++ great product and looks OEM. Another hit from EMC2Design💥
