I've diagnosed my right hand front fan has failed due to bearing failure so I need to change it out. It looks like it should be possible to change it from the wheel side rather than bumper removal, has anyone done this as I'm struggling to find any info?

Thanks, looks do able so will have a go. If the fixings look likely to shear then I will go the PU removal route

You will find that it is a lot easier with the bumper cover removed. That is really not a big deal.

yep I know but it’s even less hassle if I can get it out by just removing the wheel and arch liner which also have to come out to remove the PU

Just to confirm yes the RHD fan is changeable via the wheel arch

No real problems
