Default Bose system popping sound

My 2005 997 Bose system was making an intermittent popping sound and hissing and roaring sounds from the rear speakers. I sent the frunk amplifier and receiver head ( needed new screen) to Becker Autosound for repair. I received them back and the sounds persisted! Becker then said the problem was probably with the rear speakers. I took the car to a reputable local shop who replaced the rear speakers along with a small amplifier located between those speakers. Now I only get the popping sound the first time of the day when I open the door or whenever I start the car. Anyone have any idea what’s causing this sound?

You sure it's not from the rear subwoofer? It has its own amp inside the enclosure I have my working original available from an 05 for sale if that's the source and you have a coupe. I replaced my subs with Focal Utopias and a larger amp

I’m not much of an audiophile but I think that’s what was replaced. They removed the deck behind the rear seats and replaced two “speakers” and the amplifier between them.

Yep, sounds like it then. When you said rear speakers, I assumed you meant the regular speakers for the rear seat on the sides of the car.

The 'reputable' shop might check the power up signal to the sub amp

Sounds like a connection issue or your amplifier.

The amplifier connection may be the problem. Contacted Becker Autosound technicia who felt that since they used an aftermarket amplifier with the new subwoofers that it may have been wired such that it is always on and suggested rewiring that amplifier power source.
