Default Anyone on Kumho ECSTA PS91?

Does anyone drive these tires and can share experience? I come with great satisfaction from Pirelli Pzero N2 (three sets) and currently drive Michelin PS4S (still first set). With the latter I am also satisfied, especially the wear behavior is significantly better than the Pzero which was quickly worn out and then on wet roads fire dangerous. The reviews of the Kumho are consistently good but esp. the price is attractive, you get almost two for the money of a Michelin. But if they wear twice as fast you have traded with lemons....btw, talking about 295/30 R19 and 235/35 R19

Curious, what mileage is everyone with the PS4S getting on the rears? What about the fronts?

Thanks!

Never again Kumho. Cheap tires, but they fail prematurely.

I don't drive passenger-friendly. I needed one set of PZero per season, so ±13.000mls and I always changed both axles. I am now in the second year with the Michelins (25.000mls) and still measured 5mm profile in the rear and more than 6mm in the front. I guess I will buy new tires for both axles in spring 2024. So compared to the Pirelli they are moreless half the price ;-)

my turbo came with a set of Kumho Ecsta PS91 in the OEM widebody sizes that were around a year old and had maybe lost 15% wear.

coming from someone who loves PS4S, i hated them. grip was subpar. it felt wasteful to toss them though since they were relatively new and had decent tread left so i toughed them out. i got maybe 2k miles out of the rears before they needed replacement just from normal street / occasional spirited driving.

they are not a great handling tire and they are quite bad from a wear perspective as well.

just buy michelin or even continental and don't look back.

The Yokohama Advan Apex Tires are a good bang for the buck. Decent grip and wear, had a set on my 991.2 and outperformed the factory mounted Pirelli Pzeros in both ride and handling characteristics.
