Default Anyone ever put 997.1 heads on a 996. 3.4 block?

Hi all and thanks for reading. Here’s my dilemma. I have a 2007 997 that somewhere along the way had the bock replaced with a 3.4 from a 996. The heads are the correct ones for the 997. My issue is that I keep getting a P0016 camshaft code for the bank one camshaft. The camshaft doesn’t seem to be getting oil right away on startup and I’m at a loss as to why.

Before I drop the engine and pull it apart, I was hoping that someone on here may have had a similar issue with this setup and could guide me in the right direction.

thank you so much in advance for your responses!

Thinking you might have more luck posting in 996 section of rennlist if you haven't already?

First thing you should do is do a testdrive with the Durametric showing both angles against the angle that should be. Then you should be able to identify the deviation (if there is one). Or swap the element of bank 1 against bank 2 and see if the failure follows. Otherwise the vario itself might have a problem.
