Outer Door Sills Lifting
Anyone have a suggestion on how to best secure the stainless steel (or aluminum?) strips that have lifted on both outer door sills? Double-sided tape? Special glue?

Propper 3M double sided tape cut to size and applied on a nice warm day will easily hold that in place. I use that stuff to put up some fairly heavy signage on -10 cold walls here in Toronto with no issues. 3M has some ridiculous tape adhesives that they even use to hold office tower glass in place !! .. Crazy stuff !

take it out and see what it is using. The whole panel is taped. But it may be a glued part. Whatever, clean it and redo it the same as it was, with new material

Double sided gorilla tape is crazy strong as well. Do it on a warm day with the car out in the sun.

Is there a specific tape that’s thin enough?

3M trim tape. Holds securely yet removable with zero mess.

And the winner is double-sided tape. I'll pick up some 3M trim tape and report back with the results once it gets a bit warmer here in DFW.
