Default Does anybody recognize this wheel?

This is rolling on a 996. I think it would look really good on my silver cab.

Thanks in advance.

Ive had several wheels, and I recommend to find a newer version thats not a 2pc or 3pc wheel. they have inherent problems. Find a 1 pc thats forged or flow forged, never cast

Well put. Not to mention that the 2pc or 3pc wheels aren't just more fragile, they're also quiet a bit heavier than a 1pc forged wheel.

Agree, find a monoblock with the look you want and then custom finish it to have that look, but without all the extra hardware. Not only is it a cleaner look, but the wheel won't leak and it will be lighter.

I've done that 3-piece look on 1-piece wheel on a couple of my vintage Porsches. I'm not a mesh centers guy, but those wheel types with the insert mesh center and extended lip are out there in a 1-piece design. Once you've painted the centers and polished the lips, have them ceramic coated too.
You get the idea.

I think all of you guys have very good points. Those wheels on my OP were soooo good looking on the car. I think I will listen to your advice though.
Thank you!

Pete, do you have a thread for your blue 944? That color and spec is awesome.

edit: never mind, I found your thread 😁

I'm running the RG5B's for my winter set up. But the OP's pic shows too many studs. BTW, they're significantly lighter than the OEM Sport Design wheels.
