Default 997S, 997, GT3 (996) HP & Torque comp.

GT3 (996) Hp: 380@7400 RPM Torque: 285@5000 RPM

997 Carrera Hp: 325@6800 RPM Torque: 273.8@4250 RPM

997 Carrera S Hp: 355@6600 RPM Torque: 296@4600 RPM

Wow, that 997 S is a torque monster. Higher torque than the GT3 and at a lower RPM. It is going to be a blast as an everyday driver's car! I like it. I can only wonder how much better a 997 GT3 will be with a 3.8 L engine if its done.

Don't forget, the 997S weighs 100lbs more than the GT3.

Maybe they'll go 4.0L with the 997 GT3 - food for thought.
