Manual vs PDK Speed
I've been hearing a lot about the PDK being faster than a manual. As I was surfing the news feeds I found this. https://www.hotcars.com/porsche-911-...manual-vs-pdk/
What do you think of this article? I haven't seen the video yet.

Porsche’s own official numbers for the 997 Carrera Coups, manuals vs. automatics (TIP or PDK, depending on generation)…
997.2 PDKs of have the following acceleration advantage over the 997.2 6MT.
So if you look at the in-gear times (e.g. 100-160 KPH of the Carrera S models), there’s very little between them in practice.
Karl.

- Traction control for the initial dig (if Sports Chrono was optioned)
- Less power interruption between gear shifts
- An extra gear to make better usage of the power curve

Would be interesting to see those same tables for a turbo. That's where the tip is actually faster than the manual since it never drops boost (still don't want one).
