Where are you guys finding parts?
Now I am hooked on trolling for parts Besides the marketplace here, Facebook groups, eBay, are there any other places you guys go regularly to look for parts?

I usually find what I need at https://www.suncoastporsche.com/
Probably not the least expensive place to shop but they only sell OEM parts and on the few occasions I need a part they have it in stock most of the time and I have it days later or the same day if I feel like driving since they're a 20 minute drive from my house.

Suncoast may have or can get all the OEM parts but at boutique prices.
For OEM parts I like: https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/ , https://www.sonnenporscheoemparts.com , https://www.fcpeuro.com/Porsche-parts/
For expendables and minor stuff I like: http://www.rockauto.com and http://www.pelicanparts.com

Rockauto for the regular consumables and I use PorschePartsNow.com - Circle Porsche in Long Beach, CA. I find them consistently cheaper than Pelican or Sunset, and they allow local pickup.

The parts landscape changes.... I used to use Pelican but their prices are always higher than alternatives since they sold to another company. My go tos are:
Suncoast (a P-dealer)
FCP Euro
autohausaz
My local P-Dealer Hennessy (yes, total shocker, sometimes they are actually beating the 'net, so give your local dealer a call)
Other P-dealers on the net
Honestly, who I use is usually availability first, price second, and I always work the Google.
Regarding RockAuto... I was very confused by their website when ordering a throttle body.... I could not tell which was the OEM part... they had a few listed and the prices varied. Very confusing. I wanted the exact part made by the exact maker and could not tell from their descriptions or part numbers, so I bailed on them.
Peace

Yup, this is a great resource for folks in Southern California. Call the parts counter at Circle first to ensure they have it in stock, but then order it online and select will call for the delivery option. They charge $5 for will call but it's a great option if you need the parts that day while still getting discount prices.

Sunset Porsche in Oregon. Allows you to bypass some states’ sales taxes. There are many other suppliers, but takes time to sort them out. For instance, I bought a new starter off eBay from a firm in LA that came recommended and it was a spot on substitute, and was very well priced. Keep in mind that Porsche sources their OEM stuff from a variety of EU companies. Bosch sometimes does a crappy job on rebuilds. Even Sachs for clutches and pressure plates screws up occasionally. I recall years ago—about 1985–I picked up a brand new Carrera RSR pressure plate for my 1981 Turbo from the racing parts department at Werk I in Zuffenhausen, and shipped it to my home in the states, gave it to my mechanic, and only then did we discover that the mounting holes were drilled wrong! It was drilled in a mirror image to how it was supposed to be! Was never going to fit. Had to source one locally for substantially more, and then ship that 20 lb piece of junk back to Zuffenhausen. Welcome to the world of Porsche.
