So as the title states. I bought a perforated BFI **** over the weekend, got it in and then realized that the Numeric Shifter is a lot beefier than the OEM Shifter.
So the New **** won't work. Ughhhh! I gotta send back the BFI one now.
What options do we have with a Numeric Shifter ... OEM only?

I think you ordered it wrong. Did you get the for "screw type" rod ****, instead of for the rectangular shift rod version? Can you exchange it back with BFI for the right version? https://blackforestindustries.com/pr...orsche-fitment

I don't have my oem shifter to compare. The support team at USP Motorsport replied with this....

We do not have one that is specific to the numeric shifter.
If you need to setup a return for this please request one here: https://www.uspmotorsports.com/rma-request_form.html
So I'm a little confused now.

Really? the correct BFT slot for porsche shift rod should look like this, but yours clearly looks round. Also, people use the standard shift **** with Numeric shifter kit all the time, like what you've been doing. That usually means they share the same shaped shift rod.

I think BFI sent the wrong one. Below is what the stock shifter looks like. The shifter shaft is the same size and shape between Numeric and stock. That's why the stock **** works on the numeric shifter.
