996 Safari Build
Awesome build !
The pics have been inspirational to us as we are building a 996 c4s ' safari ' spec for a customer in our workshop. We have a 997 front conversion and suspension conversion from elefant racing .
Are the wheels custom made or an 'off the shelf ' from Braid ?

Drifting
Over the last 5 years I've had the true privilege of a number of different 997.2s. Some I liked more than others, but all were the perfect execution of the 911 for me. Modern yet analog, extremely reliable and wonderful to drive every day. On l my long term C2S, which I've put almost 40k miles on and improved substantially I didn't think there was much left to do (buckets, aerokit, full leather, etc.)
So where does one go next?
Let me introduce you to my 997.2 "Safari"; the first of its kind (well, minus the Tuthill GT3 997.2 tarmac rally cars.... but I'm just one guy )
Starting out with a 2010 six speed Aqua Blue base 911, I thought I'd take everything I've learned about this platform and try something entirely new.
And this weekend after months of planning, trial and error and learning about what is possible, I took it out to Monterey car week for its first debut - and suffice to say, while not for everyone, it's some of the most fun (and attention) I've had from any car to date.
Enjoy!
