Cheap Android Head Unit Review!

Done!
All in all, the install was plug and play apart from the illumination wire thingy. Fitment was a bit of pain but the shims I used allowed me to get it to set perfectly. It's a bit packed behind it as there are plenty of connectors that aren't used anymore (navigation x2, cage ground, CD changer, GPS) + the Owtosin harness. I've wrapped everything in felt tape, hope it won't rattle.
Figured out how to get the right LED colour as well. But I still can't find the "advanced" settings hidden menu... if anyone knows ?

Error message
I have everything working properly. Good audio, rear camera, etc
one problem is shortly after starting a get a dash warning that there is a “system fault visit workshop”. Acknowledging gives me a red exclamation on the dash. I happen to be getting some work done on the exhaust and they scanned it and said it went back to a fault in the entertainment system but no other detail.
what am I doing wrong here @myw

I am having issues getting any audio out of my unit. I have a 2007 c2s with bose audio. Before disconnecting, I placed the audio of the pcm to decently loud. On the unit I have the most spliced and connected, the power and most wires inserted into the new units connector. The device powers up but I have zero audio. Can you sanity check my hookups and configuration. The car previously had a ipod and aux box installed but I removed that. The car works fine with the removal of that and just the pcm installed (first check)

You've got the RCA connectors wired wrong. You need to take the red and white AUDIO OUT from the HU to the red and what AUX IN on the MOST box. Swap them over and you will have sound.

Can anyone recommend which unit i actually need? I dont have Bose and have the plain Becker non PCM radio, with only the standard 4 speaker setup. I want to make sure i have enough ram that the thing isnt glitchy, but I really only need carplay and radio. I dont plan on using rear cameras or anything as Id like this to be reversible as well.

Completed my install a few weeks ago. Thanks to this thread and those contributing, install went smoothly.
Overall, my impression is that this is a worthwhile upgrade. Certainly a vast improvement over the factory Becker unit in terms of sound quality. Sound has a better clarity and the subwoofer really pumps now. Enhanced functionality with Waze\Google maps was always going to be better than the 20 year old original nav. Although I was reluctant to do away with the PCM functions mileage etc, the info provided by the Bluetooth ODBI scanner is useful and make up for that. I added TPMS which I find is handy but seems to report a couple of PSI less than actual. Still need to install reversing camera and to get the DAB working through the factory antenna. Work in progress.
Thanks everyone for your help.
