help finding Green 997-991
A friend is asking for a darker green over tan PDK car with sport chrono pack, I had found one a while back, but it sold. I have looked high and low but with not much luck, and I know these type of cars can be hiding at consignment shops. His budget is 45-55 range.
any input would helpful, as I have exhausted my resources.

If it helps, all ‘09 997.2 C2S Launch Edition models are Porsche Racing Green / Sand Beige with PDK & Sport Chrono Plus

That was my preferred car. I looked for over 2 years and only one came up for sale and was sold the same day. Green on Sand is close to unobtanium...

Well, like I told my friend regarding looking for an extremely hard to find color, don't limit yourself buying a car because of the color. Buy the very best black 997 or 991 you can find, and then wrap it exactly the color you want.
Then on re-sale, the futur owner has a choice to keep it the color your wrapped it in, or go black.
There's a reason rare colors are rare....

Same car, same town, but PDK. Love the daily driver. Once you start looking, you see more than a few around. Just after I bought this on BAT, I saw one for sale a mile from my house at Mercedes dealer.

Are you in Maryland? I wonder if the one you saw is the one own! I work at Euro Motorcars in Bethesda, Maryland.

Instead of busting one's *** to find a green 997 why not just find a very nice example and have it wrapped in green??
This way you are not stuck with condition or missing options/services from sub-par green example you may find.

PRGs aren't rare as a color according to Rennbow.
A car that was available in the spring of last year didn't make much sense to me when I was looking for 911s in Polar Silver with Carrera Red interiors.
It was PRG but with a lot of wood details in the interior. Just beautiful.
Ever since then I can't get that car out of my head.
Exactly like Everett Sloane's girl in the white dress.
