Default Porsche Approved Oil List

Does anyone have one that is later than16 Oct 2015 that they can share, please?

This is NOT a request to discuss which oil is the best for Porsches.

As I don't live anywhere near North America, I don't have easy and reasonably-cost access to the Driven oils. So unless someone has found out how to get Driven oil easily and cheaply to New Zealand, please do not suggest that I use Driven oil.

I just would like to get my hands on the latest list.

I think that there is a more recent list - 2018 or 2019.

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Unfortunately, @evo9 's list is the exact same one that I already have (dated 16 Oct 2015).

If I'm reading it right, the one posted by evo9 is dated 2016-01-19. It says it replaces the one dated 2015-10-16.

BTW everyone everywhere should use ISO 8601 dates at all times.

Jan 2016 is correct. But there should be more recent ones. Also it misses some oil types that are A40 approved, like Motul 8100 Xcess 5W40.

You are right, I was only looking at the Oct date, but it is the same list that I already have.

With some oil's validity ends in 2016, including Mobil 1 5W-50, it's about time to see the new list if it actually exists.

It's hard to tell whether that is "white paper" information or sponsored content. They suggest going to 10W50 for 928 engines. That is not the standard in the 928 world - 20W50 is.

From a Porsche website, see the line about oil for 928 models. Refers to a 10W50.

Jake has a top secrete oil project somewhere in IRAN, could be Saudi Arabia...

Testing is ongoing but hopes to have results published after patent is approved.

Rumor has it its key is virgin materials being used from oils long thought to have special powers.

Lubes from the Middle East with special powers is quite interesting to me. My cars are all special and need the best!

Stay tuned.

You can count on it being from Iran because it will be impossible to get once we turn that country into an ashtray......

The Motul 8100 X-cess does not appear to be on this list but is listed as a Porsche A40 oil which is in the tech paper for 997's.? Perhaps it is on the newest updated list?
