Default Temp/fan button

Anyone bought these button from eBay?
any other option out there to get these buttons beside sticky no more, I believe you have to send buttons in.
I know this has been discussed multiple times but wanted to get opinions on the latest person that did these fix already.

I took them off and used cutex remover to take the rest of that sticky stuff out. Then I sanded them a bit with very fine grain sanding paper to create adherance and used satin black plastic friendly spray paint. So the black matches perfectly minus the writing or logo on them. I though I would do that and order these ones if I didn't like the results, but they look absolutely perfect.

MA Carbon will do it with a core deposit. https://www.macarbon.com/sticky-refinishing

They send you a refinished set and then you return your messed up originals to get the deposit back.

Steph1, thanks for the insight. I decided to do your route since the switches was really bothering me and those eBay switch would take 3-4 weeks to get here and the macarbon don’t have any in stock.

So so I took off switch, it was super easy, sanded it down and added couple of Coates of flat black paint they look perfect. I’ll get a pic posted shortly.

It's funny because there are lots and lots of threads about this and a ton of drama. One of the companies that produces ***** is sketchy and several posters hate the owner--but he posts all the time. Do a search--but be ready to read for hours.

My recommendation would be to buy from John at MACarbon. Spend the extra $30 to know u have OEM quality buttons with a reputable vendor. I took a chance and it resulted in 3 months of hassle and 2yrs of bitching about it :-)

I think you would have to buy the whole unit. I just can’t believe the bad quality that they put in these buttons for a car that was $100k plus. Surprise there was no class action on them.

Slow the Propofol. It's just that this has been brought up so many many many times. And a simple google search of rennlist will show you threads and threads and threads.

It's not an insult to your intelligence or personal.
