My Cars value...

Hey All - Not sure where else to ask this so I figured I would start a new thread. I am thinking about putting my 2007 997 C2S up for sale in the near future and am curious to get different opinions of what I should list her at. Right now, she has about 17,000 miles on her, I bought her last July with just over 15,000 miles. I'll attach the option list from the original window sticker I have a picture of the car (before LED lights installed). I don't have any interior pictures. Drivers seat has a little wear on the bolsters. Car is stock with the exception of LED front marker lights, LED front turn signal/fog lights, Rennline grill guards, Rennline tie downs. Tires were brand new when I bought her from a Porsche dealer, clean car fax - I am the second owner. No paint work that I am aware of, does have a slight dent on the passenger rear bumper right on the corner. Clear Bra on the front half - Not sure how old it is, there a few chips under it. Thanks in advance for any comments.

where are you located? This is the sort of car I’m looking for. From what I have seen it is probably 43-47 retail. I was looking at a similar car with 16k on it for just under 47k that went under agreement before I can look at it.

PM to discuss if your serious about selling.

Perfect car for Bring a trailer. All the right and rare options with X51, manual, all the extended leather and low mileage. Wouldn't surprise me if the car brings 50k.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Thanks for the comment.

Very nice car with great options, that car is easily 50k-55k all day long. These 997 are beginning to creep up in price and a nice one like yours are worth that.

Yup, I would ask close to 55k, will probably get around 52K-53K....

I would fix the dent before listing it. Just my opinion but I try to make there be 0 issues with any car I sell.

The X51 and low mileage make this special. I agree with Jamesinger, fix the dent.

I was actually thinking of fixing it and getting a PPI done. I have a great local body shop and will take before and after pictures if I decide to get it done. Thankfully it’s not like I need to sell it tomorrow so I can spend the time and do it right. Appreciate all the comments. Keep them coming.

How much did you pay 10 months ago? Dealer or private party? Unless you got a great deal, it's almost a year older with admitidly still very low mileage and I'd agree this car would do really well on BAT.

The bolsters can be easily renewed by a good leather firm. We have a mobile service here in Dallas that I used to fix an issue in my father's Honda when I went to sell it for him.
Inexpensive and they made it factory new.

Mid 50's thru a Porsche dealer.

That's a very special car. Yea with X51 I would put it on BAT. There is a new Pcar auction site too: https://www.pcarforsale.com.

I remember there was a X51 on BAT with 40k+ miles that went for like 51.

Petza914 05-16-2019 12:31 PM

Don't bother with your own PPI. The buyer will likely do his own anyway and many buyers will discount a seller's PPI, not knowing the relationship they may have with the place that did it and if they're trying to conceal something. No return on investment of that PPI money.

Good luck with the sale.
