Default FE mount for 18-way Adaptive Seats

Any recommendations for a fire extinguisher mount for the 18-way Adaptive Seats. I see several out there, but most have a caveat "not for adaptive seats."

Hi Joe,

I purchased a mount for my adaptive seats from https://www.speedtactics.com

The part was #FEB-PORSCHE-0509. It works okay, but there are limitations. It's mounted to the floor rails, so it doesn't move as the seats move. Fine for me, but if you have to scooch the seat far forward (e.g. when my wife drives), it will interfere with the extinguisher bottle.

Having said all that, it seems that part is no longer available.

Speed Tactics does have a universal mount kit for $75, and it looks like to could replicate what I have (for better or worse) - https://www.speedtactics.com/univers...nguisher-mount

But if someone can recommend a mount that moves with adaptive seats, I'd also be very interested.

Karl.

One thing, it doesn't work with cooled seats (which is not a problem for me).

Karl, thanks. That's the one I have now. Should have said that in my original post. The tab mounting to the seat rail broke. I did look at the universal mount, and am looking for other solutions. I'll look at that other one.

I'm trying to find one also, I was given a Kap industries one, but it interferes with the floor mat and is fixed to the rails as well, so you also have to trim the rail covers. Biggest problem is the factory floor mat doesn't really fit with it in.

I ordered up the Rennline unit. See how it fits.

Hi Joe,

How did it work out in the end?

Thanks.

OK, senior moment (s). I wrote I ordered it. Didn't. I forget why I didn't. I was able to get the broken tab to seat under the rail bolt, so, still using that one.
