I've shipped a 997 from Miami to Iowa open for $600. I didn't care for the shipper. Prior to that I shipped two Tahoes from Texas to Iowa for $700-$800 open as well.

My suggestion after doing it three times is avoid brokers and pay for somebody who owns the truck that will be hauling your car.

I don’t live in AZ, my brother does. I found my 997 in CA and drove it to his place for shipping. I agree with some of the others, pay a little more for an enclosed truck and try to find one that’s not a broker, like Plycar. I had GPS tracking of my car and the driver was very responsive via text.

Had my current GTS shipped enclosed from Ohio to southwest Florida for $650 but that was almost 5 years ago. One man operation. He had a pickup truck with an enclosed trailer behind that held just one car. Honestly can't remember how I found him but I think the dealership recommended him.

I know it sounds like some kind of backwoods operation but he did a very thorough inspection prior to loading and the car arrived with no damage 2 days later. Great price, quick delivery and no issues. Goes to show you don't have to use the best known, most reputable companies to get great service.

I shipped my 928 twice enclosed with Reliable Carriers - 1st Louisville, KY to Horicon, WI then WI to Clemson, SC. Both were around $800.

Got a small scratch on the 2nd one. Had a detail guy write me an estimate for correction and Reliable paid it without issue.

I'd use them again.

I’ve used Derrick Burgess twice, he’s the owner/operator of his truck and trailer. Hauls two cars at a time max. Park Place Porsche in Dallas uses him as well. $1 per mile flat rate last time I used him in 2017. Professional and on time. 706-247-1949

It all depends upon the route , if its remote it will cost more per mile , if it is a heavily populated route it is less -
PM for rates and schedules if you come across anything- we can quote it as you are looking.
