I purchased custom mats from Lloyds for my wife. I had them stick my nickname for her in red script. It looks great (if you like this stuff) and has held up now for .. I dunno... two years? I am satisfied.
However, I ordered Lloyds mats for my 2009 C2s in black... I feel the black is a bit to shiny... yes I am being picky. A quality product but I don't like the shine. When it is time for new ones, I just may order the Porsche ones from a discounting dealer... I do think the Lloyd's hold up better.

The Lloyd mats are first rate quality. Have them in the 993 and 997 - I think it’s called the Ultimat. Black and plush for Classic Gray and Sand Beige interiors. I also have them in the front trunk and rear interior deck. You won’t regret using their product.

The mats themselves are every bit as good as OEM. The problem I had with the set I bought was the quirky fastening clips as opposed to the simple velcro with the factory mats. The ones I bought would not stay in place. Long story short, they won't stay in place with the clip design they keep sticking with and the mats slip out of the clip connection and it's annoying. Being polite now. I actually called them and asked why they don't just put velcro pads at the bottom of the mats like the factory mats and got a lengthy explanation as to why that didn't make much sense but for some reason they can't do it. I won't buy them again.

I ordered custom Lloyd mats for a VW GTI a couple decades ago and was very pleased with the workmanship and fit. My current 997 has the factory mats (M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering) which are supposed to use the Velcro screw in discs but which have kind of delaminated the loop surface from the bottom of the mats and the hook portion of the discs has lost lots of hooks, allowing the mat to slip forward. I cut a small slit in the loop surface under the mats and threaded the hook discs into the carpet which has held them in place nicely so far.

My friend had them in his 997.2 Turbo. I liked them a lot.

I purchased 6 Lloyd mats for my 997 and could not have been more pleased. Each has custom red script on them. Front and rear mats, rear deck lid and bonnet all fit perfectly.
