Jake says every 90 days.

Heck, I am a real enthusiast so I do it monthly.

Only the best for my car.

Seriously, I only drive my car a 1k mi per year so I am being extra careful.

I do once per year... which is about 3k miles. But, I've only had it one year and don't expect to have it another.

Depends on how you drive it and how many miles you put on it.

Short trips where the car doesn't get up to operating temperature? 6 months.

A few drives but they're long and the oil warms up fully and the car is garaged? 1 year.

I go every 6 months or 5,000 miles. This shouldn't case any flames - lots of people have different opinions.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the input.....I use Liqui Moly and live in Forida with warm climate. Always drive longer trips so everything gets nice and warmed up to burn off any built up water.

I don't want to start an oil debate but to the guys who change their oil frequently, less then a year/5k mies, do you do UOA? If so, can you post up your results.

I've found conflicting oil schedules and have driven over 5K and over a year on Motul Xcess 5w-40. I drive throughout the year and approx once a week. I'm not a worry wart but I recall some UOA reports from Blackstone suggesting to put on some miles on in between each UOA when it was less then 3k miles.

Engine Oil 20,000 miles or every 2 years
Spark Plugs 60,000 miles or every 4 years
Oil-/Air-Filter Element 20,000 miles or every 2 years/40,000 miles or every 4 years
Coolant Does not require change
Fuel Filters Maintenance-free
Brake Fluid 20,000 miles or every 2 years

https://www.porscheriverside.com/our...ice-intervals/

Oil change Engine oil lubricates and removes heat from internal engine components. The oil filter removes harmful deposits from the engine oil, preventing them from being circulated throughout the engine. The oil change is included in the minor and the major service. Nevertheless, Porsche recommends replacing the engine oil and the oil filter every 15,000 km or every year.

Go on line and order a test kit from Blackstone, its free. Pay an extra $10 for a TBN. It will tell you how much life the oil has left.
