Guys - I think I mentioned in past post that I am going to be listing my 1961 BMW R60/2 on BAT----> They like the bike and will run it on BAT Auction site in about 10 days(they gave me a 2 week time frame about 5 days ago).
Would be fun to see if you guys can guess it's final winning bid and keep it on this 997 Thread if possible----> Winning bid will receive dinner with owner of Climarepair *****.

Here's some helpful info on market value to form your guess and some bullet points on my bike:
- These bikes sell anywhere from $5000 to $22,000 depending on condition. Rust bucket heaps sell for $5-$6K because parts are valuable.
- Most nice clean original examples sell anywhere from $9500 - $22,000 - Extremely low mileage clean examples that are show bikes sell closer to $30K
- Solo seat versions seem to bring a little more money as well as original paint.
- Most of these bikes do not have the original Enduro Saddle bags

My bike has nice patina, original paint, original tool roll in the gas tank storage compartment, original Enduro Saddle Bags which are extremely rare and hard to find - The Enduro Bags sell for $1500-$1800 a pair if you can find them.
I've owned several of these R60/2's and I found this one 3 months ago from 22 year owner/seller. He had some health issues and couldn't ride it anymore. He lost service records but it has been lovingly maintained and starts/runs/shifts/drives great.
Has new push rod tubes/seals, fresh oil change.
Newer tires, battery and I have spare headlight mount mirrors and bar end turn signal set with expensive turn signal switch.
