I’m watching this closely as I’ll be posting my car on BaT in the near future. Almost exactly the same car minus the color - (18k)miles and condition. Why do you guys think this is doing so well? Are these cars now that desireable?

What I originally thought was the holidays are over and no one wants to overspend anymore.... well, I think I was completely wrong on this one. And as mentioned by @ManoTexas , MrHappy is not letting anyone outbid him.... so far at least.

Good luck everyone. $62,500 with 1 day remaining.
---->I'd like to get the word out that now that I am 997-less, i'll probably be looking for either a 2010-2012 997 OR 991 in Manual Transmission - Silver w/Black and S or C4S model.
I'd be happy to find something in the -$70K range w/no accidents/full service history and mileage less than 65K.
I'll be on the hunt in a few months even though I can't drive manual for another 5-6 months
Since I like to buy my Porsche's out of California and with Covid goin on, it should be interesting taking the Greyhound Bus down to Southern Calif if I find one in dem dare parts

I have a super clean '11 C2S CPO with a tad less than 49K miles that fits your criteria. Pretty nice build sheet, too.
No, not a Cali car, but regardless it got me thinking...
"Would I take $70K if someone offered it?"
I was shocked how quickly I came up with "Nope."
Either I'm nuts or I just love this car way too much...the real answer, of course, is "both."
I don't say this to gloat or anything...just something I had not considered before, and may help explain why prices are going up as they are: We know we have a great thing.
Regardless, will keep my eyes open for your next ride...want to keep you in the 997 forum and not the "other one."
Bob

Groove man, i TRIED to get you to take my 54K mi C4S 6MT in your color, a shade under $60K, a few months ago. Well, it wasn't to be.
PS. Someone on another thread said $59K, good luck with THAT. Fact: I had a check within a day of putting on Marketplace.
