I didn't get a bid in but it looks like it has really solid quality mods and no obvious dings that i could see while skimming through. It *should* go in the high end of the guess range IMO.

I've never driven a 997 turbo but from my understanding the driving experience is not much "connected" feel as the Carrera models due to the different power band between the 2. The turbo however is great for the tracks. I wonder how much of the truth is to that...?

Boy that stunk. Must have been too much going on with this one for those looking. Maybe some conversion back to OEM would have produced higher results.

I was too late to the party but wasn’t expecting it to go much higher than $60k. The kit is fugly and the unknown damage history would have put people off. Are there quite a few manual Turbos on the market in the USA at the moment?

IMO that was a great buy, I definitely was tempted. Unfortunately my BMW developed a misfire this a.m. so I need to figure out what the deal is with that before I tell my wife I dropped $65K on another German money pit.

I do agree with the less connected feel. I have driven/instructed in a few and while fast they feel much closer to something like a GTR.

I don't think it makes sense to have a winner if the car is RNM because we are guessing what it will SELL for. I propose we give Wolfsburgde the win but from now on the car must sell to win. Thoughts???
