997.2 After Market Exhaust
Anyone have a guess as to what exhaust this might be? No branding or markings anywhere. It looks very similar to this generic eBay product. I want to remove them and possible find an OEM set, but I don't know how to reverse the vacuum line modifications or the electrical work done when installed. Not sure what makes the valves work or how to undo that.

does it not sound good, why do you want to remove it?

Bronz,
No, I don't particularly like the way it sounds, but the entire system has horrible harmonics that adds a constant drone and vibration to the car. This is also my first Porsche, just purchased in December. I am working to return the car to as stock as possible because that is the car I want to own and drive. That's all.
But overall, I'd like to know how it is all connected and wired up
Thanks

I would advise against going back to stock, the car will be completely silent (997.2's have zero sound stock). Looks like you have a center bypass, maybe try putting a factory center muffler on first?

I agree except to put any stock exhaust parts back on unless they're PSE side cans paired with some version of the x-pipes replacing the center muffler. That OEM center muffler just ruins everything no matter what side mufflers you mount on the .2 cars including OEM PSE mufflers.
