Default New Rear Tail Lights

Just installed my new VIPMotoz led tail lights....

They fit perfect and look great in my opinion.

The "driving light" glow part is much more of a red color than the daylight pictures convey. They look about the same as the night shots ;-)

Hope they hold up... (LED wise......)

Wow, really like those! What are the details? Price? I assume the pigtails are just plug and play.

Hey linderpat,

ebay Canada... Search for VIPMotoz 997
$420.00 USD. Simple one factory plug to install.. takes a couple mins per side. Has built in resistors etc...
Ship from Cali.
Super happy with them...

I'm generally not a fan of aftermarket tail lights on the 997, but I must admit that your new lights look good. They're a nice upgrade from the first generation of aftermarket LED lights that hit the market a few years ago.

They felt good as well. Heavier then the stock lights by a little bit. Thick plastic etc.

wow! I was hoping someone would buy these! they look AWESOME. I was looking at the set from Del Rey customs (head a lot of good things, but the dotted LED style), and had saw these on Amazon but was skeptical. Also did not find this style on vipmotoz actual website... can you post a pic from further back? (both lights in the shot?) running lights and with the brakes pressed and turn signal on? would like to see the full compliment!

Here are a few more pics...
Don't have a full back pick with brakes on.. Will have to see if the wifey will jump in and hold the brake peddle down for me ;-)

There should be a short video with the turn signal going as well..

Nice!!! I think I may end up with these when the time comes. thanks for the upload. I think it looks a little bit more modern than the dot LED types (still think those look good too). I feel like the 997.1 lights flow with the rear end better than the 997.2 - just a weird shape and doesn't match the lines of the rest of the car. These kind of remind me of the 991 look but not too much of a copycat

Lights look great. I am glad I went with LED’s too. I think the 997.1 stocks are too plain.
